How to Safely Remove MicroSD Cards on your Nintendo Switch?

Nowadays, expanding the internal storage on the Switch Console is becoming a very easy task for all the users. Nintendo made it possible for us, but that removable storage provides us a secondary benefit. When you inserted a card on it, then the things like screenshots are instantly saved to the new storage instead of the internal system memory. This simply means that those who don’t want to post screenshots quickly to Facebook or Twitter, then they can immediately capture screenshots and some other files from the Switch and move them some whereas by removing the inserted card.

If you immediately want to change the microSD cards back and also fourth on the Nintendo Switch, then you have to follow few simple steps. The steps are given below.

Steps to remove a MicroSD Card from your Nintendo Switch
However, the Switch is the best option for users who are inserting the MicroSD card at any time, though removing it is a little bit different. To stop the Switch from being interrupted when users are trying to save something, the software on the console warns that it is best only to remove a microSD card when the Switch is fully powered down. Whenever the Switch restarts, then the console is ready to go and you can again re-insert the card whenever you choose.

To remove your microSD card from a Switch Console safely, you need to follow the given instruction:

1. First, close any open Games or Apps.

2. Now, hold down the power button located at the top of the Switch Console until the screen turns into black.

3. Then, open the back flap and remove the MicroSD card.

4. Lastly, restart your Nintendo Switch.

Sometimes, it might seem a little boring to power the console down if you were quickly grabbing files to and from the console, this is a pretty safer deal and also confirms that there is no any file corruption.

How to Fix Wi-Fi Issues in Specific Rooms

Don't buy a new router when your Wi-Fi stops working. These days Wi-Fi is available everywhere. It is as important as oxygen for accessing the internet. It should work right every time otherwise your life will become stagnant. As the Wi-Fi slows down, our entire life slows down too. Our browsers and email stop loading, movies freeze, Alexa stops responding, and phones revert to data plans.

There are numerous reasons for the slowdown of your Wi-Fi, such as signal congestion, firmware issues, router location, hardware limitation or even physical size of the home. Let’s not undermine this, maybe your neighbors are using your Internet at your cost and you are getting a slow speed.

Here is a list of things that can be done to solve these issues:

● Slow or no Internet access in specific rooms.

Wi-Fi is like the radio waves, meaning your router broadcasts in all the directions from a certain location. If your router is in a far corner of the house, then you are uselessly covering a great deal of the external world.

1. Try to move your router to a centralized location. The closer you put your router, the better reception you will get throughout your house.

2. If you have some external antennas, then you can try adjusting them too.

3. Alternation in between the fully vertical and fully horizontal positions can help in reaching to multiple directions.

4. If you reside in an apartment building, then other routers may also be interfering with yours. Free software such as NetSpot on Mac and Windows and Wi-Fi analyzer for Android can show you every wireless network nearby. If your router is overlapping with the nearby networks, then try switching to less congested channels.

If none of this can help then your house may be too much for one router to handle. Go and get a wireless repeater.

How to fix Mac Startup Disk?

Who wants to see a message saying, "Your startup is almost full?' A full startup disk is something that every Mac user will experience, but luckily this problem has many solutions.

What is a startup disk?

A startup disk is a volume or partition of drive that contains a usable operating system. Mac hard drive consists of discs, each of the disk has your Mac data on it, it has your applications, operating system, etc. Many of the Mac users have only one disk, but users of power may have two or more. A Mac with only one hard disk will have a hard drive of 500 GB.

· It will be having only one "Disk" on it, so all 500 GB of storage is on that disk.

· The disk has an operating system and user data

· Since there is only one disk, this is your startup disk: of all 500 GB.

· A Mac with two disks will have storage divided among them. The drive of Mac with OS on it is startup disk while another drive is used just for storage. It is possible to have many starts up disks, but most Macs will have just one.

How much is full too full?

A start up a drive that is almost full not only of the current problems only because you are running short of storage space. It also impacts the performance of your device. Not sufficient storage space fastly degrades how fast can your Mac startup.

Back up before you proceed

It is a good idea to point out that some files are there that should never be removed. Most of them are related to the Operating system. There are some more files as well like our favorite apps, media files, etc. before you begin to search or remove additional data. Perform a 'current backup' of all your files.

Which files to remove?

The operating system of Mac can present an overview of what sort of files are taking up the most space on Mac. We can access the storage graph through two methods.

OS X Mavericks and earlier:

· From the menu of Apple, select About This Mac

· In the About This Mac window, Press the More Info button

· The About This Mac window will scatter and display no of tabs in the toolbar. Click the item labeled as Storage.

OS X Yosemite through current versions of macOS:

· Use the menu of Apple to select About this Mac.

· In About This Mac screen, select storage item from windows toolbar.

Storage Graph

The storage graph will display all currently attached storage devices with Mac's startup disk listed first. The graph for each of the storage device will display the amount of space each file is taking up on the disk. Storing through your apps and deleting those not in use may help in increasing the free space.

Restore or Update your iPhone in Recovery Mode

If you restored the factory settings and still it didn’t work, or iTunes couldn’t detect your iPhone, you are recommended to try forcing your iPhone into the recovery mode. Your device naturally comes into the recovery mode whenever you update to it the latest version of iOS. Install Printer on Windows PC Without a CD

Did you lose your Printer’s software installation CD? CDs get damaged or lost very easily. If you need to set up your old printer on your new Windows PC, then in most likelihood, you will not be able to find the installation disk. If your computer is connected to the internet, then you can just download the setup from the web. After that, you can use the printer’s USD cord to complete the installation process. Follow the steps given below to add a printer to your Windows device with the help of a USB cord:

1. You can use a USB cable to install a printer. A not so long USB cable is provided with a majority of printers. With this cable, you can connect the printer to the computer directly. Since the cable is not very long, ensure that the printer is positioned in the close proximity of the PC.

2. Now, if you have a Windows laptop, then you will find a USB port for printers along with its sides. If you have a desktop running Windows, then the USB port should be present either in the front side or on the back side of the Central Processing Unit.

3. After inserting the USB cable into the computer’s port, you need to insert the other end into your printer.

4. If the printer does not have a USB cable, then you will have to install the printer manually.

5. After attaching the USB cable, you need to start the printer. Just press the power on the button located on the printer. Wait for a while for the printer to start.

6. In a majority of instances, the installation procedure of the printer begins as soon as it is switched on and connected to a system. If this happens, then just follow the instructions on the screen and install the printer on your computer.

7. If you do not get prompted to initiate the installation procedure after turning on the connected printer, then follow the next step.

8. Click on the Start button. It is located at the lower left edge of the desktop. You can also hit the Windows key on the keyboard.

9. In the Search bar in the Start menu, write: printers and scanner and hit the enter key.

10. Wait for the search for the text as mentioned earlier to be over.

11. In the search results, click on Printers & Scanners.

12. Now, in the upper section in the Printers & Scanners window, click on Add a printer or scanner.

13. In the Add a printer or scanner screen, select the printer.

14. If your printer does not show up in the list, then go to “The printer I want is not listed” and look for it.

15. Now, the installation needs to be initiated. Just follow the directions on the screen. The installation process and time taken for installation depend on the make and model of your printer.

16. When the installation is over, you will be prompted to restart the computer.

17. When the computer restarts, just print a test page to see if the printer is working properly or not.
